Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
In general, the Admission Office of Universitas Indonesia assesses international applications which meet the following qualifications.
Should you not meet any of the following qualifications, the university may set a different standard for the requirements on case-by-case basis, which may affect the specifications of documents that you must supply and the conditions of offer as you pass the assessment for admission.
| a. | Graduating from nationally accredited high schools. |
| b. | Completing General Certificate of Education (A Level), the Advanced International Certificate of Education at a Pass level or above. Note: SAT result is to be provided by Bachelor applicants who do not hold certificate of A Level or STPM or equivalent. |
| c. | Graduates of Diploma Program of European Baccalaureate |
| d. | Diploma Program of International Baccalaureate |
| e. | Passing international education qualifications equivalent to any of the above |
English Language Requirements
Although Regular Bachelor Program is delivered in Indonesian language, you must demonstrate adequate English proficiency since there are a number of departments requiring students to take mandatory courses in English.
Particularly, you must meet one of the following requirements.
| a. | Graduates of International Baccalaureate with the following criteria: - Completion of English A1 at Higher or Standard Level; - Completion of English A2 at Higher or Standard Level; - Completion of English B at Higher Level with a Grade of 4 or more; - Completion of English B at Standard Level with a Grade of 5 or more or |
| b. | Obtaining ITP/International TOEFL with minimum score of 500 (PBT); 173 (CBT); 60 (iBT) or IELTS minimum score of 5.5 |
Indonesian Language Requirements
In addition to the previous language requirements, applicants of Regular Bachelor Programs where the language of instruction is in Indonesian must meet one of the following requirements.
| a. | Obtaining certificate of BIPA 3 completion (BIPA is an Indonesian language preparatory class for non-native speakers) |
| b. | Obtaining certificate of TIBA (TIBA is an Indonesian language proficiency test for non-native speakers) with minimum score of 4 (TIBA for Academic Purpose) |
