Programme Description
The Faculty of Nursing University of Indonesia has opened its Ph.D. Programme in Nursing Science that is aimed at nurses, educators, researcher nurses, and the graduate students in nursing science who wish to develop the science and technology of nursing in Indonesia.
The aim of this Ph.D. Programme is to generate nursing scholars who are culturally sensitive and are highly competent in research enabling them to make significant contributions to the development of nursing science. This Programme focuses on the ability to generate the basis of nursing science through the role of the graduates as academician encouraging them to produce new scientific work/innovations in the field of nursing. This Programme also aims to produce experts on nursing researches oriented to the development of the quality of clinical nursing services who are culturally sensitive and able to publish the result of their independent research in scientific activities or nationally and internationally accredited scientific journals, to produce educators who are able to implement research based education, and to produce nursing leaders who have the ability to formulate nursing policies and contribute to the formulation of health policies.

Tuition
The tuition fees for the Ph.D. Programme in Nursing Science amount to 20.000.000,- IDR per semester. The Development Fund amounting to 30.000.000,- IDR is to be paid only upon admission.
