Come and Join the Short course on Asian Emporium:SEA Identities: past, present and future. Experience the international learning atmosphere together with students from various universities in SEA and International Distinguished Professor.
Asian Emporium is an introductory course which predicated on our objective to provide a general overview on the world of Monsoon Asia throughout the centuries. This course is expected to describe and elaborate six main interrelated topics: Monsoon Asia, Heritage, Religion and Belief, Cultural expression, Trade and emporium, Governments and politics.

Course Methods
Each session in the Asian Emporium will encompass two main activities which are the lecture series and group discussion. During the course student will be divided into six groups, according to the six sub-themes. And each group will have to present a working paper about their sub-theme in discussion session. Whilst, for the final assignment each student has to compose a individual final paper.
Students are expected to prepare a short (max. 10 minutes) cultural performance to represent cultural diversity in Southeast Asia according their nationality. Please bring your own costume and all stuff related to your performance.
