In order to give various information about Universitas Indonesia, Public Relation and Public Information Transparency Office of Universitas Indonesia held UI Open Days 2015. This event was held from February 28th to March 1st 2015 at UI Library, Depok. Information that was given among others about UI entrance and academic program that is available at UI from diploma to doctoral degree program, whether it is regular, paralel or international class.
The committee provided booths for all 13 faculty at UI. At those booths, the visitors could ask deeply about the faculty and study program. Besides faculty booths, UI Open Days also held various activities such as exhibiton, presentation and talk show, socialization seminar about UI entrance, and campus tour using the yellow bus of UI. With those activities, the visitors had a chance to discuss and do further information searching about UI in general and specifically about faculty and study program that had been interested.
This event got good responses from the visitors. “Exciting. The event is informative, also the seniors responded our questions nicely and patiently,” said Indira, one of the visitor of UI Open Days from 26 Senior High School, Jakarta
People, especially the senior high school students, had great enthusiasm to participate in UI Open Days 2015. Ardiansyah, adviser of UI Open Days, said that the entrance ticket that reach 20.000 tickets had been sold out. “Even though we applied the ticket system, this event is for free. We put no charge because we wanted to reach people more extensively,” he said. (Ay/Humas UI)
