Jaleswari Pramodhawardani, familiarly called Dani, is a graduate of Gender Studies at the School of Strategic and Global Studies of Universitas Indonesia. She is an activist for human rights, humanity, and equality for women. She currently serves as Deputy V of the Presidential Staff Office. Jaleswari Pramodhawardani is active in various informal activities, especially regarding Human Rights (HAM). Dani was later known as an activist who actively voiced her opinion on human rights and the military. She openly refuses the notion that women should not be free to express their aspirations in any field. As a Master in Women Studies at Universitas Indonesia, she began her career as a researcher in the field of society and culture at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences. She is also a member of The Indonesian Institute who established Local Government Studies (LOGOS).
