Description
The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Indonesia, the oldest nursing faculty in Indonesia, currently plays a part as a major centre of nursing studies in Indonesia. Students are expected to complete 144 credits throughout the programme. The ndergraduate programme offered by the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Indonesia, is based on the Ners curriculum, meaning that upon graduating and obtaining a Bachelorate in Nursing (S.Kep) students are expected to undertake a professional programme to acquire a Ners (professional nursing) degree. This programme offers Regular Classes.
Tuition Fee
Based on the UI Rector Decree No. 406/SK?R/UI/2021
An Equitable Operational Tuition Fee is payable by regular undergraduates, varying in accordance with each respective applicant’s economic capability. The Equitable Operational Tuition Fee varies from Rp 100.000 to Rp 7.500.000. For regular undergraduates, as of 2013, there is no entry fee. This is because the entry fee is subsidized by the government through the Operational Assistance of State Universities.
UI has since used a Single Tuition Fee (Uang Kuliah Tunggal / UKT) as its system of payment, meaning that students pay tuition fees set by each programme per semester, in lieu of the former credit-based fees.
Based on the UI Education Fees Decree in 2022
The fees for undergraduates of the Extended Regular Programme is fixed. The UKT is also applicable for students of the Extension Regular Programme, consist of: an Operational Tuition Fee (BOP), payable each semester, amounting to Rp 10.000.000,- and an Entrance Fee amounting to Rp 14.000.000,-.
Professional (Nurse) Program
The Nurses’ education program is a professional academic education program consisting of academic and professional stages with the title Nurses based on UI Chancellor’s Decree Number 029/SK/R/UI/2001 concerning Nurses as a professional designation for graduates of the Professional Program education at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia. 2008, the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No. 267/D/O/2008 was issued concerning the Granting of Permits to Implement Nurse Professional Education Programs in Higher Education. Based on the agreement of the Association of Indonesian Nursing Education Institutions (AIPNI) regarding the number of credits for the Nurse profession program to be 36, this was implemented at FIKUI in the 2012–2013 academic year. The Nursing professional program is carried out through clinical practice in various facilities, including hospitals, health centers, nursing homes, and communities. At the end of the practice round, students gain experience and skills in the area of specialization and are required to compile a final scientific work report (KIAN) which will be presented in the practice facility.

Educational Operational Cost (BOP) for the Nursing Profession Program is paid per semester in the amount of IDR 10,000,000.00 for regular classes and extension classes
The admission Fee (UP) is paid at the beginning of college in the amount of IDR 4,000,000.00 for extension classes.
Community Nursing Specialist Program
This program aims to produce graduates who are able to act as Specialist Nurses, namely nurses with advanced community nursing competencies. The Community Nursing Specialist Nurse education program is held in two stages, namely the academic stage (Master of Nursing with Community Nursing request) and the professional stage (Community Nursing Specialist Nurse), which forms a single unit. The academic stage is aimed at providing a solid scientific foundation in the field of community nursing. The professional stage focuses on applying the results of analysis of various nursing concepts and theories as well as government policies related to community nursing in various health care settings.

The academic stage is aimed at providing a solid scientific foundation in the field of maternity nursing. The professional stage focuses on applying the results of analysis of various nursing concepts and theories as well as government policies related to maternity nursing in various health care settings.

Doctoral Program in Nursing
Doctoral Program in Nursing was officially opened in 2008 in accordance with the Decree of the Rector of the University of Indonesia No. 683/SK/R/UI/2008 dated June 25, 2008. Prospective students of the Doctoral Program in Nursing must have a background in Education Master Program in Nursing or Master Program in Health with matriculation for a maximum of two semesters before the doctoral education program that followed, 6-12 SKS per semester in accordance with Rector Regulation No. 016 of 2016 on the Implementation of Doctoral Programs at the University of Indonesia. Doctoral Program in Nursing FoN UI is the first nursing doctoral program in Indonesia. The characteristics of FoN UI Doctoral Program in Nursing are the basic nursing fields, clinics, and communities with the leading urban nursing with a type of supportive nursing disciplines namely basic nursing, medical surgical nursing, maternity nursing, mental health nursing, community nursing, paediatric nursing, oncology nursing, and gerontic nursing. All these sciences can be used as an area of nursing research in completing studies in the Doctoral Program in Nursing.
