Dewi Makes, with his husband, Yozua Makes – owner of the Law Firm for Finance, Makes and Partners – founded a social foundation in the field of scholarships for children’s education. She joined Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI), a non-governmental organization concerned with the humanitarian field that focuses on children. She has managed to gather scholarship donations for more than 400 children, and was selected as one of the 16 WVI Hope Ambassadors. The organization supports and assists children and their families in 40 locations for community development programs, spread across nine provinces, including Aceh.
