Lestari Moerdijat

Lestari Moerdijat, fondly called Mbak Rerie, is a female executive who served as the Head of Media Group. Previously, she was the leader of various Media Group subsidiaries, including Metro TV and Harian Media Indonesia. Lestari Moerdijat is currently the Chair of the Sukma Foundation (Sekolah Sukma Bangsa Aceh), the Board of Trustees of the Media Group Foundation, the supervisor of Akademi Bela Negara of NasDem Party, and the supervisor of the Dharma Bakti Lestari Foundation, as well as the organizer of other social organizations. Additionally, Rerie is officially listed as the founder of “Persatuan Filantropi Indonesia.” As a cancer survivor, Rerie pays special attention to cancer prevention activities, particularly breast cancer, through multiple organizations and causes she organizes, such as “Sahabat Lestari” and “Millenials Goes Pink.” In politics, Rerie is a Member of the Nasdem Party Upper House and the Regional Coordinator for Central Java and Yogyakarta. Moreover, Eerie is actively engaged in a number of humanitarian missions. In 2004, she became the coordinator of the Aceh Tsunami disaster management and Mount Merapi eruption victim management.
