International Relations

Programme Overview
International Relations Studies FISIP UI aims to produce graduates who are able to comprehend, explain and analyze various phenomena in international relations, and can participate actively in professions related to this field, either in the government sector, research, education and other sectors, at both national and international levels.
The curriculum inclues among others among others, Diplomacy and Foreign Policy Analysis, Theory of International Political Economy, Transnational Security Issues and Foreign Policy of Indonesia. Numerous graduates of this study programme have become diplomats, or work in international organizations.

The study programmeme only accepts students through the Regular Undergraduate programmeme. 50% of the students enter through special invitation or the SNMPTN, and the other 50% are from SBMPTN and SIMAK-UI.

Tuition Fees
The tuition fee for the Regular Undergraduate Programmeme is determined in accordance with the ability of the student to pay. This payment scheme, known as the Equitable Academic Operational Fee (Biaya Operasional Pendidikan Berkeadilan /BOP-B), ranges between IDR 100,000 – IDR 5,000,000. Since 2013, Regular Undergraduate students are no longer required to pay a development fee, as it is subsidized by the government through the State University Operational Support (Bantuan Operasional Perguruan Tinggi Negeri / BOPTN). UI uses a Single Tuition Fee (Uang Kuliah Tunggal/UKT) payment system in which students pay for all the educational units determined by the study programmeme and they no longer pay according to the number of credit units they take every semester.
