FM UI Students Receives Scholarship to Study in the Netherlands

A total of four students from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (FM UI) received scholarships from Erasmus+ to undergo a Half Minor program at The Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), The Netherlands. The four students are Calysta Salma Nabilla (FM UI 2017), Farida Farah Adibah (FM UI UI 2017), Rizky Farandi Mubasir (FM UI UI 2017), and Sania Zahrani (FM UI 2018).

Dean of FM UI Prof. Dr. dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, SpPD-KGEH, MMB, congratulated and wished success to the four students who won this scholarship. “I hope these four students can bring the good name of FM UI and take as much knowledge and experience as possible while studying there. Hopefully this program will further strengthen and expand the cooperation between FM UI and renowned campuses abroad, especially LUMC in the field of developing the insights of the next generation of Indonesia’s health world,” said Prof. Ari.

The participation of FM UI students in the LUMC Half Minor program is part of a form of cooperation between FM UI and LUMC in the field of student exchange that has been going on since 2014. Both institutions regularly send students to exchange knowledge and experience in Indonesia and the Netherlands.

The half minor program lasts for three months, starting from September to November 2022. There are three topics that will be followed by the four students, Calysta and Farida will follow lectures and research related to Global Health, Rizky is related to Medical Education, and Sania will follow the topic of Heart and Blood Vessels.
