Specialisations:

  1. Social Development and Local Autonomy
    This specialisation aims to develop academic and nonacademic professionals to deliver better services to the stakeholders. This is achieved by using the problem solving method in Social Welfare/Development, and integrating the development in the global world and local wisdom.
  1. Development Planning and Evaluation
    This specialisation aims to improve the skills of those who are interested to dive into the fields of development planning, implementation and a humanitarian program. With the capability to design and evaluate programmes that are accountable and concerned about the needs of the society, it is expected that those programmes will be effective in developing the targeted groups in society.
  1. Social Development, Poverty and Corporate Social Responsibility
    This specialisation focuses on tackling poverty in a comprehensive manner, taking into account global, national and local perspectives, as well as involving participation from the public, government, and corporations (through corporate social responsibility). In this context, the local potential and social resources are developed maximally, including their work ethics and spirit of entrepreneurship.

Admissions
The entrance to the Master’s Programme in Social Welfare is through the SIMAK written entrance exam.

Tuition Fees
To join the Master’s Programme in Social Welfare, students are required to pay a tuition fee (BOP) of Rp 13,000,000 per semester for the regular class in addition to a one-time Development Fee (DP) of Rp 5,000,000 charged at the time of enrolment.
