Civil Engineering
Course Description
Civil Engineering is the oldest of dicipline of engineering science and having many specialization. Civil Engineering can be explained as application from engineering into the community.
Civil engineering applies the principles of engineering to fulfil basic needs of the community in the area of housing, transportation, sanitation, and other needs in modern community. Civil Engineering related to the design, construction, and maintanance of the physical and environmental infrastructure which are roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings, as well as other challenges like the decreasing of the infrastructure, environmental issues that are complex, and transportation systems that are already old, and natural disaster.
The Civil Engineering study program prepares the students to be a designer, constructors, and managers in many fields of civil engineering. Civil engineering works in every level like public sector in city development and national development and private sector from private ownership and multinational companies.
Tuition Fee
Based on the UI Rector Decree No. 406/SK?R/UI/2021
The fee for undergraduate regular program is paid according to the ability of the cost guarantor.
The Educational Operational Cost is around Rp 100.000 – Rp 7.500.000. For regular undergraduates, as of 2013, there is no entry fee. This is because the entry fee is subsidized by the government through the Operational Assistance of State Universities.
UI uses the Single Tuition Fee payment system where students pay the unit fee for education that has been determined by the study program and is no longer charged per credit.

For non-foreign nationals, Parallel undergraduate education costs are fixed. Tuition fees for Parallel Undergraduate also use a Single Tuition Fee. The Education Operational Cost is Rp 10.000.000,- per-semester and Rp 50.000.000,- for the Development Fund.
For foreigners, the fee for undergraduate pararel program is permanent. Tuition fees for Parallel Undergraduate also use a Single Tuition Fee. The Education Operational Cost is Rp 30.000.000,- per-semester and Rp 50.000.000,- for Development Fund.
