Pharmacology

Course Description

The Faculty of Pharmacy Undergraduate Study Program requires 144-146 credits including thesis/final assignment and is scheduled for 8 (eight) semesters and 12 (twelve) semesters at most for each student to graduate with a Bachelor of Pharmacology degree. Pharmacy is a profession that works through mastering the art and science of making medicines from natural and synthetic materials that are suitable and convenient for distribution and use in the prevention and treatment of diseases. This profession has knowledge about identification, selection, preservation, combination, pharmacological action, analysis and standardization of drugs and medicinal ingredients, as well as proper and safe distribution, proper storage and proper use. Pharmacy study program is opened in two educational programs: regular undergraduate and parallel undergraduate. The admission is through SNMPTN (National State University Invitation Admission), SBMPTN (National State University Admission Examination), and SIMAK-UI (UI’s Independent Admission Examination) for regular class. As for parallel classes through SIMAK-UI and PPKB.

Tuition Fee

Based on the UI Rector Decree No. 406/SK?R/UI/2021

For undergraduate regular program, the fee is paid according to the financial ability of the bearer, BOP-B (Education Operational Cost)

BOP-B (Education Operational Cost) is paid around Rp 100.000 – Rp 7.500.000. For regular undergraduates, as of 2013, there is no entry fee. This is because the entry fee is subsidized by the government through the Operational Assistance of State Universities.

UI uses a Single Tuition Fee or UKT as a payment system where students pay the fee of education that has been determined by the study program and is no longer charged per-credit fee.

Based on the UI Education Fees Decree in 2022

For non-foreign nationals, Parallel undergraduate education costs are fixed. Tuition fees for Parallel Undergraduate also use a Single Tuition Fee. Education Operational Cost is paid around Rp 14.000.000 per semester and Rp 20.000.000 for the Development Fund.

For foreign nationals, Parallel undergraduate Program education costs are fixed. Tuition fees for Parallel Undergraduate also use a Single Tuition Fee. Education Operational Cost is paid around Rp 27.000.000 per semester and Rp 20.000.000 for the Development Fund.
