Physics Master Degree
Course Description
The Department of Physics is committed to provide high-quality education and facilities of research in physics and its applications in four specialisations:
- Pure and Applied Physics produces researches capable of planning and performing research and educators qualified to lecture on graduate-level physics
- Medical Physics produces medical physicists projected to fulfill the needs of hospitals, especially in the fields on radiotherapeutic service, radiodiagnostics, and nuclear medicine.
- Instrumentation physics produces experts in instrumentation capable of controlling the quality and quantity of instrumentation and manage or establish instrumentation diversification businesses.
- Reservoir geophysics produces experts possessing strong quantitative analytical capability. Coupled with profound knowledge of geology and reservoir technology, they are capable of planning and performing research and methodological development in reservoir geophysics.
Tuition Fee

Regular Class (maximum age limit for registration is 35 years)
– an Entrance Fee (UP), payable on admission, amounting to Rp17.000.000,-
– an Operational Tuition Fee (BOP), payable each semester, amounting to Rp12.000.000,-
Special Class (maximum registration age limit is 40 years)
– an Entrance Fee (UP), payable on admission, amounting to Rp17.000.000,-
– Education Operational Cost, Paid per semester Rp15.000.000,-
Research Class
– an Entrance Fee (UP), payable on admission, amounting to Rp17.000.000,-
– an Operational Tuition Fee (BOP), payable each semester, amounting to Rp12.000.000,-
Foreign nationals
– an Entrance Fee (UP), payable on admission, amounting to Rp35.000.000,-
– an Operational Tuition Fee (BOP), payable each semester, amounting to Rp40.000.000,-
