The 3rd International Conference on Indonesian Economy and Development (ICIED) is a continuation agenda of Conference on Economics and Finance in Indonesia (CEFI) which first organized by Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM) in 2015 and Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI) in 2017. This conference aims to facilitate open discussion, transfer of knowledge, and scientific dialogue among scholars (researchers, students, academicians) as well as policymakers within national and international scopes. Along with the demand of faculty internationalization from Universitas Indonesia, starting in 2017, ICIED then being held annually and extended into international scale.

This year, the 3rd ICIED is hosted by collaboration of Department of Economics and Demography Institute FEB UI. This conference will highlight Urban Development and Sustainable Growth: Enhancing City Resilience and The Role of Technology for Future Productivity as the main topic. The main conference will be held on September 18-19, 2018 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Prior to the main agenda, a one-day pre-conference workshop will be held on September 17, 2018.

This conference is expected to bring together scholars from Indonesia and abroad to discuss and share their knowledge on related topics. Participants of The 3rd ICIED will get an opportunity to present their research and publish them in Scopus-indexed journals as well as other reputable journals both on a national and international scale.

Abstract and paper submission must be done electronically via our online conference system conference.ui.ac.id/icied. Selected papers of the 3rd ICED, subject to normal refereeing process, will be invited to submit to Scopus indexed journal (there may be additional):
