Deskripsi Program Studi
The Information Systems Study Program under the auspices of the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia (FCS UI) provides opportunities for the best high school/equivalent graduates to gain education and expertise in the field of Information Systems/Information Technology at the undergraduate level. This program is designed to meet the need for skilled and professional young workers, especially those related to the development, utilization, and management of Information Systems/Information Technology within an organization.
With its experience in the field of Information Systems/Information Technology, the Information Systems Study Program of FCS UI has been recognized for its ability and quality in providing undergraduate level education in the field of Information Systems/Information Technology. Graduates are accepted in business and industry as high-quality personnel in the field of Information Systems / Information Technology.
This study program is open to the regular undergraduate class and parallel undergraduate class, where the entry path for the regular undergraduate class is through the SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and SIMAK-UI. As for parallel classes through SIMAK-UI and PPKB.
Biaya Pendidikan
Based on the UI Rector Decree No. 406/SK/R/UI/2021
Regular undergraduate education fees are paid according to the ability of the cost bearer. The payment scheme is called the Equitable Education Operational Cost (E-EOC).
E-EOC is paid in the range of IDR 100,000 – 7,500,000. For regular undergraduates, as of 2013, there is no entry fee. This is because the entry fee is subsidized by the government through the Operational Assistance of State Universities.
UI uses the Single Tuition Fee payment system where students pay the unit fee for education that has been determined by the study program and is no longer charged per credit.

For non-foreign nationals, Parallel undergraduate education costs are fixed. The amount of the EOC is IDR 12,500,000 per semester and IDR 40,000,000 for the entry fee.
For foreign nationals, the tuition fee for Extension Undergraduate is fixed. Tuition fees for Extension Undergraduate also use a Single Tuition Fee. The amount of the EOC is IDR 15,000,000 per semester and IDR 40,000,000 for the entry fee.

Profil Lulusan
Graduates of the Fasilkom UI Computer Science Undergraduate Study Program are accepted in business and industry as high-quality experts in the field of computer science and information technology. The results of the alumni tracking study show that 90% of graduates of the Bachelor of Computer Science Study Program find work less than three months after graduation. Graduates of the Bachelor of Information Systems study program have the following profiles:
- Bachelor of Computer Science: has a strong theoretical knowledge of computer science foundations balanced with practical knowledge of the latest IS/IT technology, has critical, systematic, logical reasoning, and follows scientific rules in solving problems.
- Professional: demonstrate independence and quality performance, make careful decisions based on the results of information analysis, be responsible for achieving work results, good self-management, adaptability and always learning for sustainable career development
- Designer of IS/IT solutions to real organizational problems: have the ability to identify a real problem in an organization and design alternative IS/IT-based solutions, be able to critically choose existing alternative solutions and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of solutions in solving real organizational problems.
- Collaborate globally: have good communication skills and be able to work together in teams with different backgrounds and geographically dispersed members, maintain and develop a network of peers, both inside and outside the institution.
- Professional Ethics: applying professional ethics consistently by paying attention to legal, ethical, and social issues in utilizing IS/IT to solve real problems in an organization.
Periodic surveys indicate that most graduates of the Faculty of Computer Sciences Universitas Indonesia work at national and multinational companies, both in Indonesia and abroad, dealing in IT consultation, banking, software industry, and other services. Others work in government institutions/universities, or continue their education to a higher level (Master or Doctoral) at home and abroad. A few gratuades even launch startup companies, fulfilling, by means of innovative goods and services, demands in the IT market.
