Two UI Students Got International Youth Appreciation

Two UI Students, Kristi Ardiana (Faculty of Law) and Made Sanadhi Sutandi (Faculty of

Engineering) got pretigious appreciation from Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as

“International Young Achievers of Indonesia”

The appreciation was given by Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Imam Nahrawi on the

celebration of Youth Pledge Day on Friday, October 28 th 2016 in Palangka Raya.

This appreciation is a prestigious appreciation, because there were only 5 young people

from all over Indonesia who had been chosen to receive it.

The two young people got this appreciation due to their glorious achievement.

Kristi Ardiana, who is also The President of English Debating Society (EDS) UI, has

recorded several bright achievement on Model Youth Asia Pasific Economic Community

(APEC) in Beijing, China on last August.

Ardiana was also Indonesia representatives on Asia Pasific Rim Universities (APRU)

Undergraduate Leadership Program in Mexico on last July 2016.

Meanwhile I Made Sanadhi Sutandi was the first Indonesia people who got a chance to do

internship at OpenLab European Organization For Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva,

Switzerland on June to August 2016.

While at CERN, Sutandi was also incorporated in the famous IT project that is funded by

Oracle for IT CERN infrastructure team research purpose.

“I am so grateful for this appreciation and chance. This surely become my own motivation

to be better and keep on trying to give positive impact for young people of Indonesia,” said

Ardiana.

Similar to Ardiana, Sutandi also hopes that thiw appreciation could be an inspiration for

lots of people.

“Especially UI students, so that they keep on working in national or international level,”

said Sutandi who is also part of UI Robotics Team.
