Three of UI Study Programs Participated in AUN-QA Assessment

There were three study programs of Universitas Indonesia (UI) that participated in ASEAN University Network on Higher Education for Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) assessment process.

Those three study programs were Communication Sciences from Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Naval Engineering and Bioprocess Engineering from Faculty of Engineering.

The assessment process was done by six assessors from AUN-QA who visited those study programs and assessed them by Focus Grup Discussion (FGD), in-depth interview and questionnaire assessment.

There were some aspects that became assessment, among of them were program specification, learning strategies, academic staffs quality, students quality, as well as facility and infrastructure.

In the assessment process, the assessors also gave suggestions to those study programs in order to be considered for the future of study programs.

ASEAN University Network (AUN ) is an ASEAN Organization that is established in 1995, in order to do educational cooperation in a regional integration to reach global educational standard.

AUN Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) is one of the process that is done by AUN that has purpose to measure capability and educational program standard of ASEAN universities.

AUN_QA is not an accreditation, but a certification in the form of assessment process so that study programs of AUN universities member has the same educational quality standard.

Universities that became AUN member and study programs that has assessed by AUN can do students exchange and credit transfer with fellow university members.
