UI Professor Awarded Honorary Professor Title from Kazakhstan

Riri Fitri Sari, professor of Computer Engineering Universitas Indonesia (UI), got Honorary

Professor title from Kazakh National Agrarian University (Kaznau), on Thursday June 17 th

2017 in Kazakhstan.

The honor was given to Prof. Sari due to her contribution in UI GreenMetric, the only world

university ranking that use environment indicator as main variable of the assessment.

As form of honor, Kaznau gave her honorary title as “Outstanding Contribution to The

Excellence in Higher Education”.

Prof. Sari was considered had implemented information technology to trigger future

improvement in world's higher education management.

Not only in world level, she was also considered contributed in improving UI to be a world

class university with its green campus movement.

“I dedicate this achievement to all UI citizen who makes effort to manifest sustainable

campus and hopefully this kind of international cooperation can keep on improving as form

of a sustainable campus program,” said her as her expression of gratitude of this honor.

Kaznau has given honorary professor title to outstanding researchers and academician;

several university rector such as Istanbul, Azerbaijan, Australia, Malaysia and President

International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) as well in recent years.

Kaznau is one of reputable educational institution in Central Asia in science and

agriculture field.

Kaznau was established in 1996 by merging of two oldest institution in Kazakhstan, that

are Almaty Zooveterinarian Institute and Kazakh Agricultural Institute.

Now, besides agriculture that became their field of specialization, Kaznau also offers

academic and research programs in social, technology and health that are divided into 6

faculties and 25 study programs.
