Another brilliant achievement was made by the Universitas Indonesia (UI) Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Students in the Dentist Professional Program Student Competency Test (UKMP2DG) at the national level in the third period of 2023. Ten new dentist graduates of FKG UI won the top three national positions, namely first place with a score of 95.83: drg. Maria Anneta Artha Lidwina Malau, S.K.G. and drg. Ninis Cantika Asriningati, S.K.G., ranked second with a score of 95: drg. Rifdah Yunerizka Fatma, S.K.G., drg. Fheiske Riadi Joroh, S.K.G. and drg. Laurensia Flavia Domitilla, S.K.G., ranked third with a score of 94.17: drg. Ishlah Faakhirah Rahmah, S.K.G., drg. Prima Aliifah, S.K.G., drg. Adelia Ramadhani, S.K.G., drg. Yoses Rivano Bakara, S.K.G. and drg. Ubaida Ahmad Alhety, S.K.G.
This proud achievement was announced directly in the submission of an academic report by the Vice Dean of FKG UI for Education, Research and Student Affairs, Dr. drg. Ria Puspitawati, PBO. The procession of oath-taking and sending off new dentists, specialist dentists, adapted specialist dentists and masters for the September 2023 period, took place on Monday, September 4th 2023 at the Makara Art Center UI Auditorium, Depok.
Apart from this success, Dr. Ria also announced the graduates who received the highest GPA at the professional level, Drg. Putri Khumairotuz Zahra, S.K.G., with a score of 3.96. The Summa Cumlaude predicate for specialist level was achieved by Drg. Eko Prastyo, Sp. OF, with a GPA of 4.00, the master’s degree in summa cum laude was achieved by drg. Safira Khairinisa, M. Kes with a GPA of 4.00. The Summa Cumlaude award means that all courses have been successfully completed with a perfect grade or A, never failed or repeated a course, and were able to graduate within the study period.
Currently, there are 3,703 FKG UI dentist graduates, 1,412 specialist dentists and 145 master graduates.
Dean of FKG UI, Dr. drg. Nia Ayu Ismaniati, MDSc., Sp.Ort(K) expressed her appreciation and pride towards the graduates for their academic achievements and national level competency tests. “The success of occupying the top 3 positions in the national ranking by 10 new FKG UI dentist graduates and 90% of graduates from each level achieved Cumlaude and Summa Cumlaude predicates, this is proof that the competence and knowledge of FKG UI graduates is superior and highly competitive. There is great hope that these graduates can educate and dedicate their knowledge and skills to serve the community in remote areas of the country,as a form of service to the nation and state.”
