Parallel Pharmacy Undergraduate Education Program
The Faculty of Pharmacy Undergraduate Study Program requires 144-146 credits, including thesis/final assignment, and is scheduled for 8 (eight) semesters and no later than 12 (twelve) semesters that must be taken by each student to achieve a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. Pharmacy is a profession that works through mastery of the art and science of making drugs from natural and synthetic materials that are suitable and convenient for distribution and use in the prevention and treatment of disease. This profession has knowledge of the identification, selection, preservation, combination, pharmacological action, analysis, and standardization of drugs and drug ingredients, as well as proper and safe distribution, storage, and use methods. The pharmacy study program is opened in two educational programs, namely regular undergraduate and parallel undergraduate, where the entry path for regular undergraduate classes is through SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and SIMAK-UI. As for parallel classes through SIMAK-UI and PPKB.
Tuition Fee
Based on the Decree of the Rector of UI No. 406/SK?R/UI/2021
Regular S1 education fees are paid according to the ability of the cost bearer, BOP-B (Equitable Education Operational Cost).
BOP-B is paid in the range of IDR 100,000 – IDR 7,500,000. For regular undergraduates, as of 2013, there is no entry fee. This is because the entry fee is subsidized by the government through the Operational Assistance for State Universities (BOPTN).
UI uses the Single Tuition Fee or UKT as a payment system where students pay the tuition fee that has been determined by the study program and is no longer charged a per-credit fee.

For regular, Parallel S1 education costs are fixed. Tuition fees for Parallel S1 also use UKT. The amount of the BOP is IDR 14,000,000 per semester and IDR 20,000,000 for the base fee.
For foreigners, the Parallel S1 education fee is fixed. Tuition fees for Parallel S1 also use UKT. The amount of the BOP is IDR 27,000,000 per semester and IDR 20,000,000 for the base fee.
The Pharmacist Professional Education Program is a professional education program after graduating from the Bachelor Program (S1) to gain expertise as a Pharmacist/Pharmacist. Graduates majoring in Pharmacy have employment opportunities, both in the government and private sectors, in the fields of education, research, and industry related to pharmaceutical science. The pharmacist professional education program is one of the educational programs after undergraduate (S1).
Pharmacists, as health workers, can work in health services, including procurement, supply, distribution, supervision, and use of drugs, among others, in pharmacies and hospitals. In addition, employment fields for Pharmacy graduates can be further expanded, such as cosmetics and food products.

Tuition Fee

Educational costs for the Pharmacist Professional Education Program that must pay for regular classes are Rp. 7,000,000.00, Rp. 20,000,000.00 for foreigners, and Rp. 11,000,000.00 for non-UI graduates.
Education Operational Fee (BOP), which is paid every semester. For regular classes, Rp. 15,000,000.00. IDR 40,000,000 for foreigners and IDR 23,000,000 for non-UI graduates.

The development of the pharmaceutical field and employment, and changes in people’s lifestyles, which demand increasingly globalized expertise in pharmaceutical science and technology, require the education of pharmacists to be increased to the highest level, namely doctoral education. So the Graduate Study Program of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy UI opened a Doctor of Pharmacy program, considering that the facilities, infrastructure, and human resources are available for its management.
The characteristics of the opened Doctoral program are based on the current need for pharmaceutical research on basic pharmaceutical sciences. The program includes pharmacy (biopharmaceuticals, pharmacokinetics, and drug delivery), pharmaceutical biotechnology, natural pharmaceuticals, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology-toxicology, and applied science in clinical pharmacy.
This Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences was established based on the decision of the Chancellor of the University of Indonesia No. 0072/SK/R/UI/2010, dated February 2, 2010.
