RENSTRA (Rencana Strategis, Strategic Plan) is a planning document that is oriented towards the results to be achieved by the organization within a certain period of time. In order to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, each Higher Education makes a RENSTRA which contains a vision, mission, goals, short, medium and long term work programs, and strategies for achieving them.

The library as an important component in higher education, in preparing RENSTRA, must refer to the RENSTRA of its parent institution. RENSTRA is used by the library as a reference in managing work programs and ensuring that the library’s main tasks and functions are relevant to the university’s vision.

To enrich insights into the preparation of RENSTRA, UI Library held a National Webinar with the theme Success in Developing Strategic Plans for Higher Education Libraries.
