Faculty of Public Health Doctoral Students the batch of 2022 successfully held an International Seminar with the theme “Towards System of ‘SatuSehat’ in Indonesia: Opportunities and Challenges from Public Health Perspectives”. As the opening of the International Seminar The Opening Speech from the UI’s Rector Prof. Ari Kuncoro, S.E., M.A., Ph.D, continues by Keynote Speaker Prof. Dr. (H.C.) K.H. Ma’ruf Amin, the Vice President of Republic of Indonesia, dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono, Sp.PD, Ph.D, KEMD, Health Ministry Vice Minister of the Republic of Indonesia, and The Opening Speech from Prof. dr. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, M.S., D.Sc as Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia.
This seminar was divided into two sessions; Panel Session and PhD Research Dissemination Session. Panel Session was moderated by Prof. dr. Kemal Nazaruddin Siregar, S.K.M., M.A., Ph.D with the first speaker Daniel Oscar Baskoro as Chief Operating Officer Digital Transformation Office Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the second speaker Dr. Melvin Seng from Singapore, the third speaker Mr. Booncai Kijsanayothun, Ph.D as Asia e-health Information Network and the fourth speaker is Prof. Dr. Nando Campanella from Italy. PhD Research Dissemination Session was divided into three breakout rooms, which are; breakout rooms 1 with the speaker Dr. dr. Ekorini Listiowati, MMR and Dr. dr. Agung Cahyono Triwibowo with panelists from the Directorate of Health for Productive Age and Older Age, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia; breakout room 2 with the speaker Dr. Avliya Quratul Marjan, S.Gz., M.Si and Dr. Kencana Sari, M.P.H with panelists from the Directorate of Nutrition and Maternal and Child Health, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia; as well as breakout room 3 with the speaker Dr. dr. Farida Briani, Sp.B (K) Onk and Dr. Dewi Nirmala Sari, SKM, M.Biomed with panelists from the Directorate of Health Promotion and Community Empowerment, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The seminar, which was held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, succeeded in attracting the attention of the public from various backgrounds, including academics, policy makers, health professionals, and students from within and outside the country. This seminar was attended by around 1000 participants via the Zoom Meeting application and nearly 6500 participants who took part in the live streaming of the seminar on the FKM UI YouTube channel.
The participants were very enthusiastic to take part in the seminar which was held at 08.00-13.00 WIB both via the Zoom Meeting application and live streaming on the FKM UI YouTube channel. At the end of the event, the committee held a quiz and distributed door prizes to the lucky participants. The success of the implementation of this International Seminar is inseparable from the support of various parties, starting from the support of sponsors, media partners, as well as the cooperation and cohesiveness of the committee team. With the implementation of this International Seminar, it is hoped that it will be able to increase insight, knowledge and provide an overview of the implementation as well as the opportunities and challenges that will be faced, especially from the perspective of public health workers in the integration of the health information system program (‘SatuSehat’ System).
