Interior Architectural Engineering (S1)

Course Description

The mission of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia is to provide quality training in architecture in order to encourage knowledge and skills in design required of professional graduates, values and behaviours needed as part of society, and an attitude of responsiveness towards issues related to human living space.

In 2008 the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia, inaugurated the Bachelor Programme in Interior Architecture, which places an emphasis in the interior aspect of architectural design. This programme offers those intending to concentrate on Interior Architecture, a part of architectural sciences, a chance in acquiring skills and experience.

Besides careers directly related to architecture, graduates may also try the following career paths: interior design of housing structures, commercial buildings, hospitals, and other public buildings. .

Tuition Fee

Based on UI Rector Regulation No. 4 of 2021

An Equitable Operational Tuition Fee is payable by regular undergraduates, varying in accordance with each respective applicant’s economic capability.

The Equitable Operational Tuition Fee varies from Rp 100.000 to Rp 7.500.000. For regular undergraduates, as of 2013, there is no entry fee. This is because the entry fee is subsidized by the government through the Operational Assistance of State Universities.

UI uses the Single Tuition Fee payment system where students pay the unit fee for education that has been determined by the study program and is no longer charged per credit.

For non-foreign nationals, Parallel undergraduate education costs are fixed. Tuition fees for Parallel Undergraduate also use a Single Tuition Fee. The Operational Tuition Fee, payable each semester, amounts to Rp 10.000.000,-, while the Entrance Fee, payable on admission, amounts to Rp 50.000.000,-.

Tuition fees are also fixed for foreign nationals applying for the Parallel Programme. Tuition fees for Parallel Undergraduate also use a Single Tuition Fee. The Operational Tuition Fee, payable each semester, amounts to Rp 30.000.000,-, while the Entrance Fee, payable on admission, amounts to Rp 50.000.000,-.
