Exercise has become a routine for Chairman of Board of Trustees of Universitas Indonesia (MWA UI) Saleh Husin to keep his body fit. By taking advantage of the holiday, Monday (28/2/2022), Saleh exercised with some of his friends who are members of Komengsong whatsapp group who come from various circles such as Ministers, Parliamentarians, Chief Editors, Professionals, Directors of BUMN and Entrepreneurs.
“It’s been more than two years since we have been able to gather due to the pandemic, and we are grateful that today we can exercise together with a limited number while relieving nostalgia,” said Saleh. This time, the exercise was done at the Gelora Bung Karno Senayan stadium, which is very beautiful and cool, especially at 6am.
The exercise performed varied, some complete the distance of 5, 7 and 10 kilometers according to their respective habits and should not force themselves if it is not possible. “What makes the atmosphere exciting is used for taking pictures. This is where we can laugh out loud while raising our immunity,” said Sinarmas Managing Director Saleh Husin.
In this joint exercise, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi was the first to arrive, followed by Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and her husband, Director of Kompas Budiman Tanuredjo, Najwa Sihab, former Minister of Industry Saleh Husin and his wife and Director of Metro TV Don Bosco Salamun, Commissioner of Detik.com Ridwan Dalimunthe, PWI Honorary Board Ilham Bintang, former ATR Minister Ferry Mulsidan Baldan, Jak TV Editor in Chief Timbo Siahaan, Bukalapak Commissioner Yeni Wahid, Global TV Editor in Chief Apreyvita Dyah, former Hotel Indonesia President Director Natour Intan A Katopo, Angkasa Pura 1 Commissioner Gus Ipang Wahid, Director of Tempo Group Wahyu Muryadi, Former President Director of PT DI Elfien Goentoro, and Spokesman for Jusuf Kalla Husain Abdullah.
There was one exciting thing for them, which was when Retno Marsudi, Saleh Husin, Susi Pujiastuti, and Ferry Mulsidan Baldan took the starting position on the running track like a national runner. “This recalls the cohesiveness when we were still together in President Jokowi’s first cabinet,” said former Industry Minister Saleh Husin.
