UI CISE EXPO 2023 FACILITATES JOB VACANCIES THROUGH THE “EASY APPLY” FEATURE FOR UI GRADUATES TO ENTER THE JOB MARKET
In order to bridge the needs of graduates for jobs, Universitas Indonesia (UI) through Career Development Center (CDC) UI is holding the 35th UI Career, Internship, Scholarship, and Entrepreneurship Expo (UI CISE Expo) in collaboration with KarirLab. This activity is held in a hybrid mode on March 8-24, 2023 through the UI CISE website and will be held offline, on March 17-18, 2023 at Balairung, UI Depok Campus.
UI CISE is an event that is routinely held twice a year after the odd and even semester graduation ceremonies are held. Apart from bridging graduates with various companies and agencies, this activity also offers various other information, such as introducing higher education levels and business or entrepreneurship owned by partners to the participants and a wider audience. This event is open to the public and is free of charge (free entry) with a series of activities consisting of the Pre-Event, Main Event, and Post-Event.
The Pre-Event activities will be held on March 8-10, 2023 which will contain webinars, training, and industry bootcamps with various topics and discussions around work preparation or scholarships. On the following day, the main activity will be held on March 13-18, 2023 in a hybrid manner via the UI CISE website with KarirLab at uicise.karirlab.co.
On the website uicise.karirlab.co, visitors can access virtual booths from various companies and can also visit the company’s booth directly on March 17-18, 2023. Apart from being able to access profiles of affiliated companies, participants can also directly apply for job vacancies through the “easy apply” feature. Apart from that, there is also a scholarship exhibition that provides an opportunity for visitors to be able to do a scholarship application directly through the platform.
Moreover, there will be an entrepreneurship exhibition that allows visitors to visit booths from participating startups, both startups from students and alumni, offline and online. Therefore, visitors can obtain further information about the startups, their products, and opportunities for collaboration.
Then there will also be a webinar that will invite speakers from experts and representatives from companies participating in UI CISE Expo to provide information and tips about careers in the industry. In addition, there will be a special session, which is a sharing session between companies and participants who are limited to a special room. This session aims to build engagement between companies and participants.
To help the preparation for job seekers, the mentors from the KarirLab Team will provide guidance, one of which is through the Live Resume Builder, i.e. creating a good and internationally standardized resume with an ATS-Friendly CV—which is a CV format designed to pass the Applicant Tracking System selection.
UI CISE Expo can still be accessible via the website page for five days after the event. Profiles and vacancies from each company and agency can still be accessed, and participants can still make resumes and register for the desired job vacancies.
