UI Received Grants for Two Cars and Four Sets of Car Engines to Support Sustainable Research

UI has been committed to supporting science and research development but also strives to adapt to current developments through technology. Therefore, UI was honored when its strategic partner, PT Honda Prospect Motor, handed over the Car and Car Engine Grant Objects in the UI Administration Center Building, Depok Campus, on Friday (26/ 01).

Deputy Chancellor for Human Resources and Assets, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dedi Priadi, DEA., enthusiastically said, “This grant symbolizes our solidarity in advancing science for mutual prosperity. Thank you to Honda Prospect Motor LLC for providing great support to UI, and we appreciate the researchers’ hard work in producing high-quality work.”

At the ceremony, Honda handed over a grant of 1 unit of Honda Mobilio CVT for UI, 1 unit of Honda BR-V Prestige CVT for UI Hospitals, and 4 sets of Honda BR-V car engines for Faculty of Engineering UI students.

Meanwhile, regarding health services and technological progress in Indonesia – especially at UI -Vice President Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor, Benawati Abas said, PT Honda Prospect Motor’s collaboration with UI is not just corporate responsibility but rather a shared vision for a better and more sustainable Indonesia. It was followed by the signature and symbolization of the collaboration between UI and Honda Prospect Motor LLC.

In the past, UI and Honda Prospect Motor LLC collaborated in developing education and electrification technology. It included the Lending to Use Electric Vehicle collaboration consisting of 2 electric cars, 1 PCX Electric motorbike, and 1 unit of Honda’s LiB-AID E500 Power Product. UI also received a Charging Electric grant for charging Electric Vehicles. This collaboration received a positive response from students and academics regarding the Electric Vehicle program on campus because it supported the Green Campus initiative.

The ceremony was attended by the Director of Cooperation, Dr. Toto Pranoto. S.E., M.M, Director of Operations and Facility Maintenance, Dr. Dwi Marta Nurjaya, S.T., M.T, Head of the Public Relations and KIP Bureau, Dra. Amelita Lusia, M.Si, Director of the Directorate of Graduate Career Development and Alumni Relations, Ir. Ahmad Syafiq, M.Sc., Ph.D., Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Badrul Munir, ST., M.Eng.Sc., and Director of the UI Hospital, Dr. dr. Astuti Gianti Sp. Pk (K), MPH.

Representatives from Honda Prospect Motor LLC were the Sales & Marketing and Aftersales Director Yusak Billy, Human Resources & GA Director Adi Suryadi, Human Resources & GA Assistant General Manager Adji Setianto, Sales Operations Senior Manager Adhi Parama Sugarda, and Service Technical & Warranty Senior Manager Muhammad Zuhdi.
