The Final Night of Abang None Election Central Jakarta 2022 is held at Taman Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, on Friday (22/7).

In the selection process, Andika presented the organization he initiated under the name One Million Hands for Indonesia. The organization is engaged in providing educational facilities for underprivileged children, school dropouts, and eradicating illiteracy, through various programs, including the One Million Dreams and One Million Books program. The program is expected to increase the awareness of Jakarta’s young generation so that they can contribute to the surrounding environment.

According to him, Abang None is the best platform that is not only an inspirational forum for the younger generation, but also a source of aspirations and an extension of the hand between the community and the government.

“This achievement is an honor for me. I hope that the program that we have planned in the future through ‘A Million Hands for Indonesia’ can be realized well and can create an increasingly inclusive education climate. Some of these programs include improving the quality of Jakarta’s Human Resources (HR), especially children, more massive tourism promotion, and other programs,” said Andika.

The Director of the Universitas Indonesia Vocational Education Program, Padang Wicaksono, S.E., Ph.D., expressed his appreciation for Andika’s achievements. “Universitas Indonesia Vocational School is very supportive of various activities and competitions that are participated in by students. The selection of Abang None became an arena for improving the quality of students’ self to practice their abilities in non-academic fields. I hope that Andika can carry out his role as Abang (the title) in Central Jakarta 2022 with a mandate and empowerment for the community.”

The selection of Abang None Central Jakarta 2022 has been held for about a month through a long process of training, strict selection, and quarantine. Andika said that the activity was a place for learning to practice skills and creativity that he had never learned before.
