On Thursday and Friday, December 11th to 12th 2015 Department of Communication of FISIP UI, Depok held Indonesia International Conference on Communication (IndoICC). IndoICC is a bi-annual international conference that is aimed to accommodate multidisciplinary approach, in order to understand media role in society.
Theme of this year’s conference was “Communication and Collaboration” that paid attention to rethink media role and communication on management of social transformation that is fast-paced.
This international conference invited communication and media experts from various disciplines. Presented as keynote speakers are Prof. Zaharom Nain (University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus), Prof. Brenda Cherednichenko (Deakin University, Australia), Dr. Thor Kerr (Curtin University, Australia), and Dr. Jane Johnston (University of Queensland, Australia).
Meanwhile the featured speakers on International Open Data Symposium was consisted of Ferry Kurnia R. (KPU), Bibhusan Bista (Young Inovations, Nepal), Khairil Yusof (Sinar Project, Malaysia), Andreas Pawelke (Director Open Data Lab Jakarta), and Dave Whiteland (MySociety, United Kingdom).
