The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI) held an Odd Semester for Yudisium (the Determination of the Student Graduation) 2022/2023 for Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral and Professional Levels at the Soeria Atmadja Auditorium, the Dean Building, Thursday (23/2). Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs FEB UI Arief Wibisono Lubis, Ph.D. stated that FEB UI officially graduated 540 students, 6 of whom earn Summa Cumlaude honors and 152 receive Cum Laude honors. The number of students who graduated included 164 bachelors of economics, 356 master’s graduates, 11 doctoral graduates, and 8 professional graduates.

Dean of FEB UI Teguh Dartanto, Ph.D. gave a speech that what makes Graduates of this Odd Semester 2022/2023 different is that they are the first generation of graduates after FEB UI had won double crown accreditation and went through the Covid-19 pandemic. “Today’s graduation moment is definitely what you have been waiting for and is very important in your life. After graduating, you will part ways to take the path to each other’s goals. Everyone has different fortunes, career paths, and lives. No need to worry because everything has been individually outlined by God. Professions may be the same but fortune is definitely different. The most important thing is not how fast you go but enjoy every process of your life journey,” said Teguh.

In this odd semester, Muhammad Ghithrif Gustomo Putra, who graduates from the Islamic Economics (IEI) study program, received the highest GPA with a GPA of 3.99. From the Master’s level, the highest GPA was obtained by Putra Iranto Kevin Siregar from the Master’s Program of Management (MM) with a GPA of 3.99. Meanwhile, for the doctoral level, Vita Nurul Fathya graduates from the Postgraduate Program in Management (PPIM) with a GPA of 3.87. Meanwhile, the graduate of Accounting Professional Program (PPAk.) with the highest GPA is Valenska Chaniarozy, receiving a GPA of 3.73.

A graduate with the fastest study period from the bachelor’s level is Slamet Tri Prasetyo from Accounting Study Program with a study period of 2 years and 6 months, Nurfaizah Dewanto from Accounting Study Program of the International Class with a study period of 3 years and 3 months, and M. Hafizh Ghifari Azizi from Economics Study Program with a study period of 3 years and 4 months. Meanwhile, for the Master’s level are Lydia Maulida from Planning and Public Policy Study Program with a study period of 1 year and 3 months and Bintang Bagaskara Korda from Management Study Program with a study period of 1 year and 4 months. In addition, for the doctoral level is Noveri Maulana from Management Study Program with a study period of 3 years and 4 months. Finally, for the professional program comes from the PPAk, namely Fiqha Haqqi Alsakina and Novrian Alfarizi with a study period of 1 year and 6 months.

Appreciation is given to graduates who have published their works in scopus indexed international journals, namely (1) Fatimah Abdillah from the PPIM Doctoral Program who has successfully published in the Q1-Heliyon Journal; (2) Rolan Mauludy Dahlan from the Doctoral Program in PPIM who has successfully published in Q1-Asia Business Studies Journal; (3) Noveri Maulana from the Doctoral Program in PPIM which has successfully published in the Q1-Sustainability Journal; (4) Arif Nugroho from the Doctoral Program in PPIM who has successfully published in Q2-Strategy and Management Journal; (5) Fitri Kartiasih from the Doctoral Program in Economics (PPIE) which has successfully published in the Q1-Information Technology for Development Journal; (6) Arif Rahman Hakim from the Doctoral Program in PPIE who has successfully published in the Q2- Environment and Urbanization ASIA and Regional Statistics Journal; (7) Paulina Sutrisno from the Doctoral Program in Accounting (PPIA) which has published in Q1-Family Business Management Journal; (8) Anak Agung Gede Krisna Murti from the Doctoral Program in PPIA who has successfully published in Q2-Financial Reporting and Accounting Journal; (9) Malisa Salsabila from the Master’s Program in PPIA who has successfully published in the Q1-Business Strategy and Development Journal; (10) Winda Wulansari from the Master’s Program in PPIA which has successfully published in the Q1-Business Strategy and Development Journal.

On behalf of FEB UI executives, Teguh congratulated the heads of departments and study programs, academic personnel, and employees in the departments and study programs on the graduation of the students. “In the future, let us continue to work hard and work sincerely, provide the best for students, and be determined to continuously produce great future generations for the nation,” said Teguh, closing his remarks.

Secretary General of Alumni Association of FEB UI (ILUNI FEB UI) Freddy Hendradjaja and Head of Field 4 Giving Back ILUNI FEB UI Wiwit Handayani conveyed one message as FEB UI alumni, “don’t be afraid and don’t be ashamed to dream as high as you can. Now, you have a second family, which is the FEB UI alumni family, who can support your aspirations and inspire you going forward. The FEB UI alumni family consists of people who have a immense role in the Indonesian economy through their works in the government and private sectors.”

This year’s FEB UI Yudisium is supported by several partners who have established good cooperation with UI. They are from PT Frisian Flag Indonesia, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Du Anyam, and Smartfolks.
