On October 14th to 19th 2015, Dean of Universitas Indonesia Faculty of Law (FHUI), Prof. Dr. Topo Santoso together with Heru Susetyo, Ph.D. as Manager of Cooperation, Venture, Students Affair and Alumni Relation and Dr. Yen Salma Barlinti as Head of Bachelor Degree Sub Program for International Class of FHUI visited Netherlands in order to refresh and renew the academic collaboration between Leiden University, Utrecht University, Erasmus Rotterdam University, Maastricht University and Groningen University which is previously there were already Memorandum of Understanding between both parties. Besides that, the visit was intended to establish new academic cooperation with Tilburg University.
Another cooperation that were trying to established was the implementation of double degree/ joint-degree either for Bachelor of Law level (LL.B) or Master of Law (LL.M) degree, student exchange or faculty staff exchange, joint supervision or researcher visit for doctoral students, broader and routine admission for LL.M or Ph.D for FHUI alumni, tailor-made short course implementation either at FHUI campus or other partner universities in Netherlands, teaching method training, and so on.
There was also meeting with FHUI lecturer who are studying in Netherlands, alumnus and exchange students. The meeting was held at Leiden, Erasmus Rotterdam, Tilburg and Groningen, in order to get experiences, aspiration, or testimonial from the alumnus for the improvement of academic collaboration between FHUI and its partner universities.
The most important thing from this visit was the reached agreement between FHUI and partner universities in order to follow up all MoU and collaboration agreement that was or will be agreed later, that is should be doable, tangible, and as soon as possible.
