Master Programme of Herbal Studies

Course Description

The Master Programme of Herbal Studies, offering the following specialisations: Medical Herbal Studies, Herbal Usage in Healthcare, and Indonesian Aesthetics, was formed to face the following questions:

  • How to process Indonesian botanical resources into rational and scientifically-tested complementary/alternative herbal medicine in an optimal way such that their use in formal medicine and healthcare, alongside conventional medicine in a preventive, promotive, curative and/or rehabilitative fashion is possible?
  • How to integratate herbal medicine, usage of herbal substances, and Indonesian Aesthetics into healthcare and existing healthcare policies?
  • What benchmarks are to be used in setting which Herbal Medicine substances and practices deserve to be included in complementary or alternative medicine?
  • What success indicators are to be used in evaluating the benefits offered by Herbal Medicine to healthcare services individually and to society at large?

Admission to the Master Programme of Herbal Studies is obtained through SIMAK UI, a written examination.

 

 

Tuition Fee

Based on UI Education Cost Reference Letter of 2022

An Operational Tuition Fee (BOP) is payable on admission, amounting to Rp15.000.000,00 for regular classes and Rp38.000.000,00 for foreign nationals.

The Entrance Fee (UP), payable on admission, amounts to Rp17.000.000,00 for regular classes and Rp35.000.000,00 for foreign nationals.
