Course Description
The graduates of Department of Physics can work in various fields as geophysicst, access engineer, data analyst, dan radiotherapic. Institutions that require physics graduates include Pertamina, Batan, Pindad, LIPI, Indosat, BMKG and mining companies.
Students will also choose specialization within the Department of Physics, which are Nuclear and Particle Physics, Materials Physics, Condensed Materials Physics, Electronic Instrumentation Physics, Geophysics, Medical Physics and Biophysics.
This program study is opened at regular and parallel undergraduate level, through SNMPTN (National State University Invitation Admission), SBMPTN (National State University Admission Examination), and SIMAK-UI (UI’s Independent Admission Examination) for regular class. As for parallel classes through SIMAK-UI and PPKB.
Tuition Fee
Based on the UI Rector Decree No. 406/SK?R/UI/2021
For undergraduate regular program, the fee is paid according to the financial ability of the bearer, BOP-B (Education Operational Cost)
BOP-B (Education Operational Cost) is paid around Rp 100.000 – Rp 7.500.000. For regular undergraduates, as of 2013, there is no entry fee. This is because the entry fee is subsidized by the government through the Operational Assistance of State Universities.
UI uses the Single Tuition Fee payment system where students pay the unit fee for education that has been determined by the study program and is no longer charged per credit.

For non-foreign nationals, Parallel undergraduate education costs are fixed. BOP (Education Operational Cost) is paid around Rp 12.000.000,- per semester dan Rp 25.000.000,- for the Development Fund.
For foreign nationals, Parallel undergraduate education costs are fixed. BOP (Education Operational Cost) is paid around Rp 21.000.000,- per semester dan Rp 20.000.000,- for the Development Fund.
