Vocational Programme of Public Relations

Course Description

The Vocational Programme of Public Relations produces professional, certified Associates. Its training processses result in graduates who possess understanding required of public relation associates; from the planning, execution, until the evaluation of public relation programmes.

Vision

To become an outstanding centre of vocational education in public relations in Southeast Asia.

Missions

To contribute to the progress of the nation and society through a character formation process which creates graduates possessing a high sense of social responsibility.
To offer innovative courses capable of competing with those of other diploma programmes in Southeast Asia, with an up-to-date syllabus that blends theory and practice and is in line with requirements within the labour force.
To provide instructors capable in their fields.
To develop curricula, syllabi, and teaching materials in accordance to requirements within the labour force and international standards.

Graduate Competence

Graduates are prepared to work within public relations sections of national and multinational companies, as well as becoming public relations consultants. Graduate competencies include:
Hard Skills :
1. Performing offline and online public relations research
2. Mastery of English, big data, and human communication
3. Content production: scriptwriting for audiovisual and digital narrative productions
Soft Skills :
1. Client service skills: performing public relations administrative and financial duties comprising tenders, document management, compilation of reports, and being consulted on public relations tactics, strategies, and programs.
2. Human Relations: Interpersonal Communications, Social Engagement, Networking and Rhetoric Skills.
3. Capability of performing PR programmes, including: presentation of ideas and creativity, leadership, problem solving (including high-difficulty problems), social influence, and public speaking (including presentation skills).

Tuition Fee

Based on the UI Education Fees Decree in 2022

Fees are set at a fixed rate, consisting of an Operational Tuition Fee (BOP), payable each semester, amounting to Rp10.000.000,-

and an Entrance Fee (UP) payable on admission, amounting to Rp 11.500.000.
