Universitas Indonesia (UI) held an oath-taking ceremony of the Nightengale Pledge for two dental nurses as skilled dental nurses and handed over the decrees for the appointment of 85 prospective tenured lecturers with non-civil servant status at UI. This event was held offline at the Auditorium of Building I of the Faculty of Humanities (FIB), UI Depok Campus, on Friday (17/3).
In her opening remarks, Director of HR UI Prof. Dr.-ing. Amalia Suzianti, S.T., M.Sc., representing the Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and Assets, said, “We would like to welcome ladies and gentlemen as the prospective lecturers and remind you that now you all have officially become part of UI and bear the good name of UI campus. Apart from being trustworthy, you must also be responsible for contributing to advancing UI.”
The Nightengale Pledge for the functional position of skilled dental nurse in accordance with Decree Number 6173, 6174/S/07/2023 and the handover of the decree on the appointment of non-civil servant tenured lecturer candidates in accordance with Decree Number 440/UN2.R/SDM.00.02/2023 to 523/UN2.R/SDM.00.02/2023 were conducted. The recruitment of non-civil servant tenured lecturers in the UI environment has been opened since August 4, 2022, and was closed with the oath-taking ceremony for selected employees—for the formations of Education Laboratory Institution (PLP), civil servant, and non-civil servant tenured employees.
Head of Sub-Division of Career and Functional Administration Dra. Elmida S said, “In the admission of non-civil servant tenured lecturers, it was recorded that of the 157 formations that were opened, there were 455 people applying for these formations. After going through a series of selections, only 91 people were declared passed. However, out of the 91 people who passed, 1 participant was canceled, and 5 participants cannot complete the requirements until the specified time.”
The oath-taking ceremony for the functional position of dental nurse is a legal requirement in carrying out the duties of a position to become a skilled dental nurse. Meanwhile, the handover of the decree on the appointment of non-civil servant tenured lecturer candidates at UI is a momentum to determine employment status which is the basis for non-civil servant tenured lecturer candidates of UI in carrying out their duties during the probationary period and work agreement period.
This inauguration ceremony for skilled dental nurses and the handover of the decree on the appointment of prospective lecturers at UI were accompanied by H. Hasan Basri S.Ag., M.MPd. The signing of the oath of appointment was represented by two people for prospective skilled dental nurses and prospective lecturers. Candidates for skilled dental nurses were represented by Hevilia Dwi Andina, A.Md. and Nur Indasari, A.Md. Meanwhile, candidates for prospective lecturers were represented by dr. Cepi Teguh Pramayadi, Sp.OG.(K)., M.A.R.S. and Dr. Yulia Mariana Tessa Ayudia Putri, S.Sc., M.Si.
