Universitas Indonesia (UI)-Student Activity Unit Contingent got several achievement in UiTM International Sports
Fiesta (UISF) event that was held August 2 nd to 6 th at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia.
In the event, basketball team, tennis team and soccer team of UI successfully got third rank predicate in each sport
branch.
The UISF event had been held for eleven years, competing universities from seven countries in Southeast and South
Asia in several sport branches.
UI became one of university from ten other universities that represent Indonesia, among of them are Universitas
Gadjah Mada (UGM), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), and Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ).
There were 30 universities from 7 Southeast and South Asia countries that participated in this event, that are
Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Philippines, and Brunei Darussalam.
UI sent some of their athletes of soccer, basketball, badminton and tennis for this event.
