Course Description
The Bachelor Programme of Public Health is a programme that aims to produce graduates possessing competence in, and capable of, identifying issues in public health, solving issues in public health, implementing intervention towards public health, and life-long learning.
Students of the Bachelor Programme of Public Health are trained to be capable of Analysis and Assessment, understanding the basics of public health sciences, performing policy development and program planning, performing effective communication, planning and mananging resources and finances, identifying socio-cultural determinants (cultural competency/local wisdom), empowering community dimensions of practice, and leadership and systematic thought.
The programme offers 7 specialisations: Health Insurance Management; Health Administration and Policy; Biostatistics; Epidemiology; Health Informatics Management; Health Promotion; and Reproductive Health.
The Bachelor Programme of Public Health only offers regular classes. 50% of the quotas are assigned to applicants applying through SNMPTN (invitation), while the other 50% are assigned to those applying from SBMPTN and SIMAK-UI (written/computer-based examinations).
Tuition Fee
Based on the UI Rector Decree No. 406/SK?R/UI/2021
Regular S1 education fees are paid according to the ability of the cost bearer. The payment scheme is called the Equitable Education Operational Cost (E-EOC). The Equitable Operational Tuition Fee varies from Rp 100.000 to Rp 7.500.000.
For regular undergraduates, as of 2013, there is no entry fee. This is because the entry fee is subsidized by the government through the Operational Assistance of State Universities.
UI currently sets Fixed Tuition Fees (UKT) for payments of tuition fees. This means that students are to pay at rates fixed by each programme each semester or on admission, in lieu of the former system, which charged fees by credit.

Fees for Regular Extended Undegraduate Programmes are fixed in nature. Fixed Tuition Fees are also set for Extended Undegraduate Programmes. The Operational Tuition Fee, payable each semester, amounts to Rp 11.000.000,-, while the Entrance Fee, payable on admission, amounts to Rp 9.000.000,-.
Tuition fees are also fixed for foreign nationals applying for the Parallel Programme. Fixed Tuition Fees are also set for Extended Undegraduate Programmes. The Operational Tuition Fee, payable each semester, amounts to Rp 16.000.000,-, while the Entrance Fee, payable on admission, amounts to Rp 10.000.000,-.
