REALIZING HIGHER EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION TRAINING, FIA UI ESTABLISHES COOPERATION WITH PUSDIKLAT KEMENDIKBUDRISTEK RI
In starting 2023, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) continues to improve its competence through collaboration with the Training and Education Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Pusdiklat Kemendikbudristek RI). This collaboration includes organizing higher education administration training for stakeholders (management) in higher education institutions.
“FIA UI is known for its expertise in the field of Administrative Science which definitely will be very appropriate for this training theme that we are initiating, which is higher education administration. Our academic personnel (lecturers) not only have theoretical competence but also practical competence in managing organizations so that they can actualize this collaboration very well,” said Deputy Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs of FIA UI Dr. Fibria Indriati, M.Sc.
On the same occasion, the Head of Pusdiklat Kemendikbudristek Dr. Ir. Mustangimah, M.Sc., said that Pusdiklat is assigned to organize training for the State Civil Apparatus, such as basic training, leadership training, technical training, functional training, and socio-cultural training. Hence, according to her, this collaboration is a very good thing to support the implementation of Pusdiklat tasks.
“In accordance with the direction of the Minister of Kemendikbudristek (Nadiem Makarim), it is very important to carry out training to improve the competence of Human Resources (HR) in managing higher education institutions. With various program innovations, every stakeholder in higher education definitely requires skills in good and agile management,” said Dr. Ir. Mustangimah.
In this meeting, the two parties, both FIA UI and Pusdiklat Kemendikbudristek RI, explained the needs and potential for cooperation in organizing this training. “We hope we can maximize the potential of this collaboration to achieve the goal of increasing the managerial competence of educational institutions managers which includes planning, managing and supervising, and developing higher education institutions to be more innovative and competitive,” said Deputy Dean of Resources, General Affairs, and Ventures of FIA UI Dr. Milla Sepliana Setyowati, M.Ak.
The activity which was held on Wednesday (18/01) in the Studentpreneur Room, Prof. Dr. Mr. Prajudi Atmosudirjo Building, FIA UI, was also attended by Professor of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Martani Huseini; Executive Secretary of FIA UI Dr. Umanto, M.Si., CFP.; and Coordinator of Postgraduate Program Development of FIA UI Tyas Wida Handoko, S.I.A., MPA.
