In the framework of the Community Service Program, the American Regional Studies Expertise Program, Universitas Indonesia, introduced Electric Carts to MSMEs in Sapit Village, Suela District, East Lombok Regency.
The activity entitled “Training on the Appropriate and Environmentally Friendly Implementation of Electric Carts as a means of economic activity for Sapit Village MSME groups, which will be held on Tuesday (9/8) aims to introduce and increase the knowledge of MSME players with the world of renewable energy and its development in Indonesia, provide an understanding of the benefits and advantages of Electric Carts and how to assemble Electric Cart PLTS.
The Electric Carts that will be implemented later by MSMEs in Sapit Village are the innovative work of teachers and students of the Renewable Energy Expertise Program, concentration of expertise in Solar Hydro and Wind Energy Engineering at SMKN 1 Pringgabaya. Ruslan, ST, M.Pd., as the Principal, is proud that the Electric Cart is used by fellow Universitas Indonesia students in community service activities.
On the same occasion, Triana, one of the students who took part in the activity, visited SMKN 1 Pringgabaya to see the making process of electric carts. Triana also visited the TESHA Laboratory to see the practical equipment owned by the Renewable Energy Expertise Program. SMKN 1 Pringgabaya has a very complete equipment, especially the Solar Hydro and Wind Energy Engineering equipment.
The installation of solar power plant Electric Carts will later involve the students of the TESHA department in front of the trainees who come from MSMEs in Sapit Village, one of the owners of PT. Village Technology Innovation, Fauzan Azhiman was satisfied with the achievements made by teachers and students to develop innovative work in the field of Renewable Energy, especially Solar Power Plants.
As is known, PT. Village Technology Innovation is a company that work in Renewable Energy Technology field and is also a company that is a partner of SMKN 1 Pringgabaya in the SMK Center of Excellence Program Scheme in 2022.
