Universitas Indonesia ‘s Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB UI) and Nutrifood signed a partnership to support the Merdeka Campus program, offline. in Djokosoetono Room, Dean’s Building, FEB UI Campus, Depok. This cooperation is carried out within the scope of education, namely organizing several courses with the theme Building Purposeful Business in Digital Era with material about management such as strategic, marketing, operations, and financial management. Material is delivered through synchronous class meetings and asynchronous class meeting.

In addition, top management and practitioners who are experts in their fields will also be presented as guest speakers in several lecture sessions. After that, students are required to create a project development or social business project with local wisdom nuances as a form of material implementation.

The estimated implementation time of this program is 14 meetings. The hope is that this lecture will be able to improve the competence of Universitas Indonesia’s FEB students in the field of business management that is more meaningful and long-term(sustainable).

Teguh Dartanto, Ph.D. (Dean of FEB UI) in his speech said that FEB UI really appreciates this cooperation. “This collaboration is very much in line with FEB UI’s work program, which encourages faculty involvement with industries, such as PT Nutrifood Indonesia, so that students can receive a wider range of knowledge. In addition, FEB UI lecturers can learn from each other with industry through business cases,” Teguh said on Tuesday (21/12).

Responding to this, Prof. Dr. Irwan Adi Ekaputra (Head of the Department of Management FEB UI) also said that this cooperation program would be very beneficial for improving the quality of student understanding of the material taught. “Especially because this program does not only emphasize theory, but there is also the practice of making mockups and the presence of top management who will provide material directly to students, so that students do not only learn from lecturers,” he said.

PT Nutrifood Indonesia is a fast-moving consumer goods company in the food and beverage sector that actively contributes to the world of education. Previously, Nutrifood had established the same cooperation with several other campuses in Indonesia, such as Gadjah Mada University and Bogor Agricultural Institute.

Also attending the event were Vid Adrison, Ph.D. (Chair of the Department of Economics FEB UI), Herda J. T. Pradsmadji, M.Pd. (Secretary of FEB UI), Tridianto Subagio (Head of FEB UI Public Relations), Maya Sari (Venture, Cooperation and Alumni Unit), and Rintis Dosie Swastika (Head of Legal and Career Development Center FEB UI).
