Environmental Engineering
Course Description
Environmental Engineering aims to produce professional, work-capable graduated versed in planning, design (of systems, constructions, and structures), execution, and management in the potable water supply, handling of liquid and solid, toxic and non-toxic waste, drainange, environmental sanitation, aquatic resources, air pollution, prevention of pollution, analysis on environmental impact, etc. Jobs which require expertise in Environmental Engineering vary in dimension and scope. These jobs may involve drainage systems, water supply systems, solid and liquid waste management systems, and other systems dealing with toxic and other forms of waste.
Tuition Fee
Based on the UI Rector Decree No. 406/SK?R/UI/2021
An Equitable Operational Tuition Fee is payable by regular undergraduates, varying in accordance with each respective applicant’s economic capability. The Equitable Operational Tuition Fee varies from Rp 100.000 to Rp 7.500.000. For regular undergraduates, as of 2013, there is no entry fee. This is because the entry fee is subsidized by the government through the Operational Assistance of State Universities.
UI uses the Single Tuition Fee payment system where students pay the unit fee for education that has been determined by the study program and is no longer charged per credit.

For non-foreign nationals, Parallel undergraduate education costs are fixed. The Operational Tuition Fee, payable each semester, amounts to Rp 10.000.000,-, while the Entrance Fee, payable on admission, amounts to Rp 50.000.000,-.
Fixed tuition fees also apply for foreign nationals applying for the Parallel Programme. The Operational Tuition Fee, payable each semester, amounts to Rp 30.000.000,-, while the Entrance Fee, payable on admission, amounts to Rp 50.000.000,-.
